A NEW KIND

OF RACE

Runners, bikers and kayakers have discovered a new kind of race along the shores of Lewis & Clark Lake in Northeast Nebraska.

Crofton’s Dam Race started in 2018 with a small group of volunteers in Crofton and the Lewis & Clark State Recreation Area. Athletes — ranging in all skill levels — have grown to love the mix of challenging terrain, picturesque views and small-town hospitality this race offers.

CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE

Choose your adventure between three events: a sprint triathlon with kayaking instead of swimming, a half marathon, or a 12-mile bike race

And plan to stick around the finish line for delicious food, music and Crofton’s Best Dam Bloody Mary.
